Dear @manspeterson,
Despite being a part of Gen Z, I still vividly remember the nascent years of technology.
I think as we 'progress' we begin to reminisce about the clunkiness of technology. As seen through the rise of koss porta pros or even record players.
I feel so utterly connected yet so far removed from digital communication. It's a weird dichotomy a lot of people in my generation feel. Often joking about wanting to through our phones in the ocean or even getting a flip phone.
Digital communication for me has always been something I have struggled with. I have always been more of an observer than a communicator in regard to YouTube/TikTok/Instagram etc.
I often wonder about how we will communicate in the future after seeing the development of technology throughout my life. I wonder if my generation will stick to their words and we will go back to the days of writing letters and having face-to-face interactions.
I hope we do.
Sincerely yours,
@c31estial
